AdNauseam makes skipping ads on Youtube shorts more difficult

Description
I find AdNauseam invaluable. So I have not been much fussing about its inability to hide youtube shorts ads. I was curious about one of the ads and went to Ad vault to find it just to discover it was not there. It also says, there are no ads on this page, showing recent ads. Then I turned the AdNauseam off and learned that I did not need to skip every ad on shorts 2 or 3 times as usual. Not only that, skipping it advanced to the next short instead of going back to the previous one as in when AdNauseam enabled. I am using Google Chrome Mac Desktop Version 127.0.6494.0 (Official Build) (x86_64) and AdNauseam v3.19.0
Is it possible to enable AdNauseam on youtube but disable it on youtube shorts.
I saw this issue described before (about a year ago) and thought somebody was working on it but this has taken some time.
