Why should I use this project and not just get the binary installer from the libjpeg-turbo site?

You do NOT need to use this project to get libjpeg-turbo for iOS. You can use the installer provided for libjpeg-turbo on that libraries' site

  • it has the iOS binary included. [That's what my project are using.]

When I started this project 1.2.0 was not out yet, and thus no iOS binary.

I just added a WIKI on the site to explain this to others.

Hmmm - I think I'm having build complaints due to installing the latest libtool from the net. It still builds but I get messages I never saw before. So probably the project will still work for most people.
