Shadows on the back of the drop ship look weird

Hey, found another bug for you the next time you get around to it. In the very first area of the game, literally the hangar the game starts in; if you look up at the drop ship in the area behind where Mark Caseon is sitting on the bench, you can see the shadows on the drop ship are extremely “fragmented” and acting erratically as seen in this video:

it looks the same in Vanilla Doom3 though (at least on my Windows machine) - but it does look very different in ("vanilla") Doom3 BFG, smooth actually? Which is surprising as it still uses stencil shadows
