Examples with threading

Cover TinyThread++, Boost.Thread, (Intel TBB? std::thread?).

Would love to see some examples for threading with boost or TinyThread++. I've also noted the suggestion on automatic reconnection in another issue (also about threading) and think that would be incredibly useful. I'll do my best to implement something and will report back (hopefully with a pull request) if successful.
