[feature] Batch edit
Version and OS Paid subscription, 0.49.15
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When I have several URLs to edit their settings, it can be boring and frustrating to go one by one and change the same settings.
Describe the solution you'd like
- Select several items on the main page.
- A new button Batch Edit is shown
- When clicking Batch Edit, the regular edit screen is displayed with a warning on top "You are editing several entries - these changes will overwrite individual settings"
- When clicking Save on the Edit screen, the settings are applied to all selected entries.
Describe the use-case and give concrete real-world examples I have Global Settings that I want applied to all my URLs. I have different groups, and I want to apply different settings to these groups in addition to the Global Settings. I have some pages where I want to apply the same settings in addition to the Global Settings.
Additional context An alternative could be a Group Settings feature, where any URL added to a group would have the group settings applied to.
better is to extend the 'groups' to cover more settings, trying to come up with a UI to do bulk editing of some arbitrary configs would be a nightmare
can you be more specific about what it is you want to update?
I have some pages where I want to apply the same settings in addition to the Global Settings.
I would make an extra group for those
OMG I just saw now that we can edit settings fro groups! This is exactly what I'm looking for, please disregard my request. Sorry for the confusion!
I would like, however, to see the other settings in the groups settings, as
- Only trigger when unique lines appear in all history
- Remove duplicate lines of text
- Sort text alphabetically
- Trim whitespace before and after text
Thanks so much!
