[feature] ability to easily step backwards or forwards with each compare
Version and OS v0.45.13 on linux/docker
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. While being able to choose arbitrary snapshots to compare, typically i only want to compare 2 adjacent snapshots, for example the most recent and the second most recent, the second most recent with the 3rd most recent, so on and so forth.
Currently (unless this is a user error thing) i have to manually select the snapshots from the dropdown, which works, but if there was a button that was "previous edit", "next edit", etc. Wikipedia is a great example of this where while you can compare any arbitrary snapshot you can also very easily step through each edit:
Describe the solution you'd like Add a "previous edit" and "next edit" (where applicable).
Describe the use-case and give concrete real-world examples See description above.
Additional context Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here.
Would be happy to donate as well if that helps but unfortunately paypal nor BTC are not viable options.
Do you mean something like this?
[[1/10 1/9]] 1/8 1/7 1/6 1/5 1/4 1/3 1/10 [[1/9 1/8]] 1/7 1/6 1/5 1/4 1/3 1/10 1/9 [[1/8 1/7]] 1/6 1/5 1/4 1/3 1/10 1/9 1/8 [[1/7 1/6]] 1/5 1/4 1/3
@drewmmiranda can you provide a link to the page you're talking about so i can see how it works in terms of UI exactly?
Apologies for the delay!
This page here:
@drewmmiranda no i mean the page you are talking about, the example page, not our software, i know what page this is :)

I would love to see this. Would be incredibly useful when trying to work out what filters need to be put in, to stop false-positive notifications triggered by trivial changes.
Just needs something like
<-- Previous | Next -->
Ideally, close together rather than like the Wikipedia example where they are half a screen width apart.
it's already there on the preview/single view mode
Thanks @dgtlmoon but that is not the screen I want it on, nor is it the screen given by @drewmmiranda in the example here
Would it be possible to add the same on the diff view? The diff view is by far the most common view I use, as it is the red/green highlighted differences I am most interested in.
