Using RP2040 CYW43439 for bluetooth or wifi configuration
Is it possible to install the program on the above rp?
Can I update and configure the rp2040 via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi?
Thank you,
You can install it and it'll run as with the standard rp2040, but there is no wifi nor bluetooth support for now. If there is a big interest for this I could add it.
This is not very important. Using Bluetooth would make it easier to adjust the sensors when I am on the model airplane track. Is it possible to access the RP via Ethos 1.6? Best regards
There is a lua script for configuration. But it's outdated. There're many features not included.
PRs to update the lua script with the new MSRC features are welcome as well as bluetooth support.
Bluetooth config and lua script update is in the TODO list (...but not at the beginning). This is not urgent, unless there many requests for it.
Thanks for the quick reply Daniel. I'll wait for the new lua script. It seems that the current one doesn't work on ETHOS-1.6. Cheers
Lua script has been updated.
I copied the msrc.lua file to the scripts\tools folder on my Frsky radio with Ethos 1.6.3. I also updated msrc to version 1.4.5. I typed over msrc.lua on my radio and couldn't get it to work. Any further steps? Thank you.
Which radio model? Do you see something in the radio? Do you get any error?
Note you need to flash latest firmware
Not sure if opentx/edgetx lua scripts are compatlble with ethos.
*Radio Frsky x20rs *I don't see any errors. The application simply won't load. As you say, it's probably not compatible with Ethos.
Ethos's Lua does not support edgetx. Here is the Ethos Lua reference guide https://www.frsky-rc.com/wp-content/uploads/Downloads/EthosSuite/LuaDoc/index.html
