Object ID's are ideal for referring to specific events. Can this object ID be included in the report template? For example: {{ event.object_id }}

Another suggestion is to make the object id more visible in the timeline in the gui of dfir-Iris. This is handy as you can easily shout the Object ID to another analyst working on the same case in the same room!
