ImportExcel v7.8.5 (or any previous v7.x.x version) pie/bar charts randomly don't render when used with Powershell v7.4.0 Preview X
The code I run works flawlessly with Powershell v5.1 but if I run the exact same code with v7.4.0 preview 4 (or any previous preview version), bar and pie charts "sometimes" don't render.
pls post a simple repro of this.
Thank you so much for the quick response Doug. I was worried you were going to ask that. I can post the code here but you won’t be able to run it on your machine because it reads data from hundreds of text files to generate the charts and graphs. Unfortunately the data is not for public consumption. Let me have a think about how I can do this.
Understood. I don't need the data (yet), but I'd need a simple repro to debug through to see what the issue is.
Here you go Doug, may the force be with you.

Sorry, I'd need a simple repro, that is not simple
Apologies Doug, I read it as a “simple repository”. The first thing that came to mind was Gist.
The only way to reproduce it, is to use the data. I’ll see if I can strip out critical information from the data and and just provide get the portion of the code that doesn’t work. Please give me a little time.
No rush. Happy to help. I can't go through that level of detail. Plus, it may not be an ImportExcel issue.
@Zuldan Maybe you would like to try out right-click -> move chart -> new sheet. My blank charts will show not blank anymore then, might be related to #1395 as well since the Issuer mentioned "the charts actually display properly in the chart design preview ribbon" which is the case at my end as well.
Will create my own issue with repro scenario somewhere this week.
Would like to see the latest repro. If 7.4 preview is an issue, I will wait till GA and gather details then.
