Hmm... Nevermind on that. The instructions for building the example applications don't work because the applications all require an `add_shader_library` custom cmake function that isn't defined, and after digging in...
I just installed some demo Vulkan apps and they're all failing because the driver doesn't have the "VK_KHR_swapchain" extension.  The only thing I can find online...
