vimac Key Sequence Activation not working until shortcut activation

I haven’t tried it, but given I’ve noticed this on a new machine I’m wondering if it would make sense to try a clean install (remove any preference files), then clean the shortcuts, then set the activation chords

It seems like key sequence activation does not work on this machine at all? Have you granted input monitoring permissions and then restarted the application?
