Context menus disappear when activating homerow

Is your feature suggestion related to a problem? Please describe. Clicking some buttons activate a context menu, for example when clicking on the top-right "File" button. When I activate homerow again to click on something in the menu, the menu disappears instead.

Describe the solution you'd like I want the context menu to not disappear and to be appropriately tagged with letters so that I can use homerow to click on them.

Describe alternatives you've considered I can't find any options in the settings to alter this behavior.
