Information on how to debug the go project

We couldn't make gdb work, see #214 on MAC. It might on Linux. Maybe your favorite IDE can do it?

How do you propose we debug the project - could that easily be configured in some IDE? Guidance in the developer information would be nice.

GDB Doesn't run prober on Macos Sierra as reported from multiple users. the problem and possible solution is found in this link: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/39702871/gdb-kind-of-doesnt-work-on-macos-sierra solution didn't work for me.
