Not able to Alter user access, request getting cancelled

Describe the bug

While updating the user access on UI the requests are getting cancelled and throwing errors as that took longer than expected on UI.

To Reproduce

[ordered list the process to finding and recreating the issue, example below]

1. Select any already registered user having bunch of permission already.
2. Now try to add another raw for the user.
3. Save it.

Expected behavior

The user should get updated with altered access without any error.
