Hey I want to use this, but need to update the kafka-clients to 2.8.0 in the build path.

How can I rebuild the jar using gradle? Or could we get a new release :)

A new release with the latest clients will be available by the end of this weekend, if not sooner. :)

@andrecowie If you're still interested, this issue should have been fixed in https://github.com/joschi/kafka-gitops/releases/tag/0.2.16.
