[Bug] Black panel after "restart" next day
When I open my IDEA again the next day I sometimes see just a black screen in the JCEF browser. Restarting the IDEA fixes the issue.
Still showing a black web view:

I get a frozen, or "hung", screen instead of a black screen. I'm not sure yet if this happens with 100% consistency, have only been using the plugin a few days. As you noted, restarting is a workaround. (Closing and re-opening the current project doesn't help.)

Are you using any MCP's ?
The issue is related to a stale JCEF Browser, I've already tried many approaches but currently still without any success.
Yeah this seems like the kind of bug that's a real pain to track down. Let me know if I can help by running debug/test builds or something.
I've already tried so many different approaches that I'm waiting to have a smart enough LLM's to fix it for me 😅 The previous output panel was in Swing which had its own challenges but at least that one didn't freeze.
I did not have a hung panel this morning, here are a couple of bits of data in hopes it helps. First, yesterday I switched from Ollama to Google as my LLM. Second, I started a new "toy" project yesterday.

Hi @stephanj. Did you have any luck with this fix? We are experiencing the plugin freezing quite regularly.
I'm currently a bit busy with the Devoxx Belgium preparations (6 - 10th of October). My plan is to pick up the project again after the intense Devoxx week and move it to the next level. BTW Maybe someone from the developer community can also have a look at fixing this? Thanks for your patience.

Tested it, but I do not have this issue, I use Ubuntu 22.04 as OS
