Shining Force 3 Scenario 3 - Graphic glitches (battle maps)
I am facing the enclosed graphic glitches on every battle map of SF3 scenario 3. I didn't have that problem with SF3 scenario 1 and 2.
Apart from that, the game is playing flawlessly.
I am using the latest version of Yaba Sanshiro Pro 2 (1.3.2 Pro) and my device is Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+

I recently had some interesting findings, in regards to this issue. This happens throughout Scenarios 2 & 3, but is not an issue in Scenario 1. This video was taken using Yaba Sanshiro 2, version 1.8 (Windows), but it has been an issue for a very long time. It seems to be one of the very few issues left in Shining Force 3 (in addition to the new shadow issue in towns, and the water fountains ceasing to flow again).
When you first load the game, it's not a problem. But, as soon as there's an attack sequence in a battle, it happens from that point forward (even in story scenes that follow). However, I found something very interesting recently. In the video that I linked, it shows:
- The battle looks normal, as I had just loaded the game.
- I attack, and then the graphical glitch occurs afterwards.
- I press A+B+C+Start at the same time, to do a soft reset of the game.
- The battle looks normal again.
- No matter how many times I enter attack sequences, and no longer how long I play, the glitch never occurs again.
Something about the A+B+C+Start soft reset, seems to resolve the issue. I hope this is enough information for you to figure it out. Let me know if you have more questions, or if I can get logs to you (I'm unfamiliar with Yaba logging).

Edit: It would seem that this only works for some of the battles. This may be different issues for different battle maps?
Edit 2: I need to correct this, again. It seems that the soft reset only truly corrects it, temporarily. The battle maps will look normal again, UNTIL one of the "problem" textures appears on the map. Then that texture will start to appear all over the place, making the map look "garbled".
@Kalkano27 can you attach the save data file to reproduce this issue?
Sorry, I already finished the game and uninstalled it (including save files). The easiest way to reproduce it, is to get a save file right before any battle that has water or fog in it (which is most battles), but I don't currently have any save files. I happen to know the very first battle of Scenario 2 has this issue, however. As soon as you attack something (or it attacks you), the issue will be there afterwards.
Confirmed today that this is still an issue in the first battle of Scenario 3, using the just-released version. It happens immediately after leaving the first attack sequence.
