How to Query MAC Address without Wifi Profiles Being Present on the 3DS Device

Simply put, it doesnt seem possible to query the MAC address without having a wifi profile created.

To clarify, im using devkitARM on Windows.

Im not sure if its possible to use older functions present in older versions of the libctru library?

Id really prefer not to have to downgrade just to do this.

If anyone can help, it would be really appreciated :)
