Possible vital issue: Does the app break updates?

I didn't experience any updates while testing this app, but it's possible that it breaks Spotify updates since it does break their developer certificate.

Doesn't look like it does. Today, Spotify auto-updated and all Spotio changes were (obviously) lost. Setting the Spotify.app to Locked prevents this.

I was just thinking, how about creating an automated bot for new Spotify releases so that instead of having Spotify deliver their updates, you can get the updates first before you give them out to the Spotio users and prevent the Spotify updates updating the changes? This would require some work but it would help prolong the experience when people update? Assuming you can get the updates directly from Spotify somehow...
