soft patching and custom XML manifests at the same time
Currently if a patch is applied at runtime, a custom XML manifest will be ignored if it exists. This is deliberate behavior but I'm not sure if it's a good idea, since obviously hacks may rely on a custom manifest to work properly (e.g. Tengai Makyou Zero translation) and a user trying to soft-patch the game would encounter issues.
