I'm asking in the context of p2p style mesh. potential integration into iroh p2p lib in particular.

Leveraging l2cap seems to be one of the USPs of existing commercial implementations. At least as my limited understanding based on sparse information goes. Apparently 5x "performance" improvement compared to gatt with vague references to latency as metric
