Intermittent Failure to Load Video/Clip Lists
For the past few days, Twitchlink has had difficulty displaying the vod/clip list of a twitch channel, whereas the individual video link does not have this problem.
Today (15/14/2025) the problem is really persistent, making it difficult to use the programme.
I will try to do some more usage tests to see if it is just a temporary situation of mine.
update: With a Windows restart, the problem temporarily resolves itself, could it be something to do with Windows Defender or similar interfering with twitchlink?
I have no third-party firewalls and antivirus on my pc.

The problem from today and yesterday persists, it no longer shows the list of previous broadcasts (vod) for example.
This issue is caused by an Integrity Error that occurs when Twitch's bot protection system, powered by Kasada, fails to verify the user as human. As a temporary workaround, I’ve implemented a fix that allows partial loading of the video list. 95f5416302dd4f1a8eb3c70d18ca5dbae3cbf3fa However, a fundamental solution to this problem has yet to be found.
A possible idea would be a way of loading the list of videos a little at a time.
Let me explain: By means of settings, it would be possible to download the first 10 available videos and load the rest of the view progressively, instead of all at once.
I don't know if this on a usability level would work in the long run, though.
This behavior isn’t related to the number of videos being loaded. TwitchLink does not fetch the entire video list at once. Instead, it loads a small portion as needed and continues loading more data in response to events like scrolling. The underlying issue appears to stem from Twitch’s API behavior. While the initial set of results is returned without any problems, requesting additional data using a pagination cursor seems to trigger Twitch’s bot filtering mechanisms. In other words, fetching videos starting from a specific offset may cause the problem.
This explains why it often fails to load the rest of the list :(
Issue looks like it's still ongoing with version 3.5.1
Just installed the update and running into the same problem but without the previous "network error" message. Seems like after the first initial videos load in the Video/Clip tab, the system just fails to load any additional. You try scrolling past and you get a popup in the bottom left saying "loading" but nothing else pops up, and after a few attempts, even THAT message doesn't come up anymore.
This may be related to anti-bot changes on the Twitch backend side so posting here, or it may be a separate issue, not sure. As of today, Sep 22nd, all of my Scheduled Downloads are nonfunctional with "Preparing..." or "Unexpected Error" status, and Live Downloads off the Stream tab are all hitting "A network error has occurred." VOD downloads are still working for now, at least.
I've updated to 3.5.2 on Windows. I can upload logs if anyone points me to where to find them.
edit: that may have been a temporary thing, the issue was present on Sep 22nd and 23rd but went away on Sep 24th. Maybe it was reverted on the backend, or a bug having to do with the new rewind feature that they've just rolled out?
