Bug Report - v2.90 performance increases not taking

In the latest release comments (2.90) it says:

"improved performance for Ethash+TON dual mining" and, "improved TON performance"

I have received no performance uplift. (Nor in the primary or secondary algo).

Is there something I must do to [activate] the new improvement to Eth+TON?

P.S What exactly was improved? Or was it just an improvement to the default quick-start settings?

I tested with RTX3090 and RTX3080 and there was no change. Are there any special settings?

not only this version doesn't provided any speed increase but also i noticed it is worse on lhr cards. they were more stable at 2.89. what a disappointment...

I don't think it has got worse, it is just exactly the same though.

They post it as propaganda (an advertising gimmick). Other miners list performance uplifts so they do it too.

Just ends up pissing people off who will leave to try other Miner's. (Either in protest about being lied to, annoyance at the lack of context, or because they think another Miner app will give the uplift they were suddenly expecting).

I have might have noticed that LHR TON dual performance is a little more consistent on the Eth speed. (I.E the speed doesn't jump around as much). Seems stable at :

Card . . . . . . .Ether . . . . . . . Setting . . . . . . . . . .TON 3070 Ti . . . . 63.03 . . . . Dual_Intensity=20 . . . . 1.73 3080 Ti . . . . 86.42 . . . . Dual_Intensity=22 . . . . 2.62

It definitely hasn't increased though.

3060's (non LHR v1.0) are also mining TON at between 1.07 to 1.11 depending on memory overclock, but none of them has increased at all (not even by as little as 0.01 between v2.85 and v2.90).

P,S I am using a manual -DI setting (dual_intensity= in .config file).

What memory does your 3070ti have? What OC?

Mine doesn't go over 59 Mhs + 1.6 Ghz on gminer 2.89. Need to try 2.90

Edit: Dual intensity = 20, as well
