When switch charges mac it's definitely wrong.. In opposite case, what are you expecting to see? You didn't notice any steps to reproduce your issue, so it's kinda expected behavior.

You have to open Goldleaf or Awoo or something compatible first and then... like.. click things

Anyway, come back with details and we will find out ;)

I'm also having this same issue, I'm pretty sure MacOS is overriding the switches driver from libusb to reading it as just a power source, as for a couple seconds right after I plug my switch in with Tinwoo, it works and says "waiting for file transfer" before going back to the main menu and saying "no usb connection detected." im not sure how to fix it yet but im looking into it. my best guess would be to use a usb c cable that just transfers data and not power, but i dont know if those exist.

I guess it's something wrong with cable. And.. like what about other devices? Is it works fine on windows or linux? Want to make sure that it's something mac-specific

You just have to make sure, that switch doesn't charge mac, then open ns-usbloader, open Tinwoo (or whatever similar), then once it's "waiting for file transfer" click "Upload to NS"

It was the cable. I tried a different one and it worked perfectly fine.
