Need to know how to privately report a security vulnerability to the developers

Thank you for this software - we have used it for years.

During static analysis, I found a security vulnerability in this software. According to the security tab of this project on Github, there is not a security policy.

Is there a way you would like security vulnerabilities to be reported?
