error sending battery status request
Hi, I have Ubuntu 20.04 LTS in an ethernet-NIC PC (no wireless). I've just tried to check if the connection was working with google meet. I've started droidcam with my PC and selected WiFi/LAN but as soon as I start the connection, I get a message in terminal saying error sending battery status request. My phone model is Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G with ColorOS v12.1 What can be done to fix this? I've followed your installation instructions and installed v4l2loopback-dc.
I encountered the same error (error sending battery status request) on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and old Samsung phone.
The solution is simple:
- Do not turn off the phone's screen after you've opened Droidcam.
- Then click "Connect" in Droidcam on PC.
- Now everything works smoothly and it's safe to turn off the phone's screen.
If you attempt to open Droidcam on your phone and instantly turn off its screen, the error on PC will be back.
