Alternative Solution to high Gas Fees

Description

I believe the high gas fees are putting off stakers especially those with smaller amounts of Dev as well as people withdrawing rewards. I have fielded questions and helped several people in recent weeks with this problem.

Solution

I ask the team to consider the merits of using an Ethereum Spoon (Friendly Fork) to reduce the gas costs (Tx is approx $0.01) and improve performance (4.5k TPS with sub 3 second finality) as one of their options to this problem. This Spoon/Fork is called Athereum which has been developed by AVA Labs the team behind Avalanche.
