[Feature Request] Rendering the graph horizontally

Is it possible to support rendering the graph horizontally?

Rendering vertically was a conscious decision, as it's easier to embed these graphs in prose that also reads vertically (and non-trivial graphs will run for longer than the typical page width), but I'm not against having a switch for rendering horizontally or vertically.

I'll see if I can get something in, but cannot promise timelines (though contributions are welcome). Some of the math in the implementation assume vertical rendering (especially where labels are concerned), but there shouldn't be too many changes required.

+1 for horizontal drawing :) I'm preparing presentation on slides and having graphs horizontaly is easier to fit and looks better.

Yes depends of the graph, we need vertical or horizontal. What can also be great is to be able to choose the way "bottom/up" instead up/bottom.
