Consider Cleaning up the Docs?

Most of the documentation looks like a non-formatted whitepaper, and not enough information on core tech, UMLs, API, etc. A cleanup with more bullet points, and a bit more focus on the tech side would help.Then perhaps have a PDF button or hyperlink to download a formatted whitepaper. This is more in relation to issue #2.

Has there been any progress on this? Documentation for a lot of backend API seems to be in TODO state.
