Hey @Guillaume-Bedier-Canet, thanks for reaching out. Are you displaying your diffs in unified or split mode?
Does changing between the two change the behavior at all?
Hi, I have the same issue and it is only happening in Unified diff view. Split view is working fine and as soon as I switch back it starts getting stuck in scroll again.
I also found kinda workaround this issue, keep mouse pointer busy during scroll (e.g., left right hover) and the scroll works fine
Version 3.0.8 (x64)
Thank you for your issue! We haven’t gotten a response to our questions above. With only the information that is currently in the issue, we don’t have enough information to take action. We’re going to close this but don’t hesitate to reach out if you have or find the answers we need. If you answer our questions above, this issue will automatically reopen.
@niik can I help with anything to get this resolved? what info is needed?
Hi, I'm displaying in unified mode, and changing mode does remove this behavior. Btw, its easier to reproduce this issue when using the scroll mode (mouse middle button / wheel button) and scrolling down / up.
Same
More info
When you have made some changes in the repo's file, and you try to see the changes of a particular file, you scroll down (or up) and do not move the cursor (it must be in the file changes frame), then the scroll stops working during the scroll, so behavior is as if an invisible prompt pops up; it seems to me that this behavior works when the standing cursor touches some text through the scroll
I also have this issue and can confirm that split view does not have this issue, only unified view. Github Desktop Version: 3.1.5
edit Can also confirm that moving the mouse while scrolling, prevents the issue from happening.
Same issue, unified view, 3.1.6.
