Connection error [Game: Mafia Definitive Edition]

Hi there, is Legendary still supporting all games? I wanted to start Mafia DE after a while now and it's not running anymore. I got connection errors and notification for Denuvo copy protection. I had to auth my account a few times and then was able to update the game. Now the game is at least trying to start without mentioning the error or showing the nofitcation "You need to use the Epic Games launcher". I get a connection error now though from the 2k player that wants to start.

I don't have the game, if somebody else could reproduce this that'd be great.

What would you need exactly? If i start the game via legendary/heroic, the 2k games launcher appears and closes again. I wasn't able to get the game to load.
