Change event with ajax populated select box

Hi, I am using jquery custom select menu and it is working just fine for me except one issue and that is, I am populating categories from database and on changing category using change event to populatee sub category select box but I am unable to trigger the change event on sub category select box. Any idea how to fix this issue...
