shell:AppsFolder on locked tab doesn't open a new tab

Open chrissv opened this issue 4 months ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug When the active tab is a locked tab, typing "shell:AppsFolder" in the address bar (or clicking on a bookmark of the same destination) doesn't open a new tab to the Applications folder.

If the active tab is a normal (not locked) tab, then "shell:AppsFolder" (or the bookmark) goes to the correct directory.

There are no errors/messages when this happens.

I would expect it to be the same if I enter "C:" in the address bar (or click on a bookmark) when the current tab is locked - it opens up a new tab for the destination.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Lock a tab on any directory
  2. With the locked tab as the active tab, Enter "shell:AppsFolder" on the address bar (or click on a bookmark which has shell:AppsFolder as the location)

Expected behavior A new tab opens to the Applications folder.

Version (please complete the following information):

  • Explorer++ version 1.4.0.2293 (64-bit build
  • OS: Both Windows 10 and Windows 11
