Flagged as Trojan (Bearfoos) in Windows 11 24H2 Windows Security Defender

I downloaded the latest x64 version from explorerplusplus[dot]com on 11-Aug-2025, and was using today when suddenly got flagged by the Windows 11 Windows Defender Security, which promptly quarantined explorer++ app and scanned my system. Please do not use this app as it is riddled with Trojan and god knows what else, maybe ransomware. Developers, explain yourselves.

I don't see any warnings from Defender when running the latest version of Explorer++ on Windows 11. I have, however, seen false positives from Defender before, which are usually short-lived. Ultimately, there is no way to stop false positives from occasionally happening. As a developer, I have no control over how applications like Defender work.
