Don't render poor roads the same as good roads when zoomed out

These roads look just as good as each other,

Until one day when you drive them, or zoom in just a little further, Screenshot_20221010-184637_All-In-One Offline Maps.jpg

Only then do you realize how dangerous rendering them the same when zoomed out is!

This causes people to consistently:

  • Miss intersections, and have to drive back looking for the road they missed. They expect a road as important as the one they are on now, and after they realize they've gone too far, they zoom in the map to see, "Oh it's a smaller road that we were looking for in the first place."
  • Taking shortcuts that one will regret: After driving several kilometers and finding that the road is in terrible shape, one zooms in the map and finds, "All along we shouldn't have picked this road in the first place. No wonder there's nobody else driving on this road."
