touchscreen/tablet trouble: panning also zooms

First off, thank you for the project, the maps are great!

I use a laptop with touchscreen, but I suppose the following problem might also exist on tablets: I can use two fingers to pan the map, but when I lift the fingers from the screen there is always a change in zoom. That's so annoying, that I resort to the touchpad which is much slower to use. On Google Maps panning with two fingers works fine on the same machine and I always use it, because it is very intuitive. Pinch-Zooming works too and the two don't interfere.

As clicking on the map is pointless on a touchscreen, maybe even one-finger panning would be an option.
