elevation values are unreadable on darker backgrounds

Open Schockwellenreiter opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

The values at elevation lines on white and yellow backgrounds are readable, even if they are too small in my opinion. But on green, grey or all darker backgrounds the values are nearly unreadable. This appears on all zoom levels from 13 to 17 (below 13 no values are shown). This issue seems to be browser independent (I tried it on edge, firefox and chrome). See example at:

Besides that, larger text fonts for the elevation values at the two highest zoom levels would be nice (and could maybe fix this issue).

Thanks for your comment, @Schockwellenreiter. I increased the text size just by one - please wait for your tiles to be rendered (may take days to weeks).

Thanks @der-stefan for the quick response. Do you have any examples of recently rendered tiles?

Besides, I really appreciate this project. The maps look mor like paper maps as the standard OS maps. I use OS maps mainly with Osmand. There is also a Topo view, but in my opinion in your rendering the topography is much better visible. It would be really nice to have the OpenTopoMap rendering in Osmand. Would you mind if I open a respective issue there?
