Passphrase to start the ATAK in a tablet

Open rpakula opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

I downloaded and installed the atak-civ-sdk-4.3.0.0 in a tablet with the idea to develop a plugin using that version (4.3.0.0). However, when I run the ATAK, it is asking me for a 'Passphrase'. Where can I find the value of the Passphrase? Is there any way to remove the requirement for a Passphrase?

Thank you,

Were you able to resolve this? You can set the passphrase to whatever you choose. However, when I installed my apk onto another device, the passphrase I chose was no longer recognized. I chose the "Quit and Remove" option (I believe that was the wording). After that I was able to run it without any problem.

In another forum it was suggested that you could "reset it, and delete the "atak" folder on your device's root directory to make sure there's no stray configuration files that are automatically loaded."

Hello Natalie,

Thank you for your reply. I’m also chosing the "Quit and Remove" option, and now it is running.

Thank you again and best regards,
