highlight selected text colour

Hi,

I find that when highlighting code, the selection is so faint on the dark theme, it is hardly recognizable? Anyone else have this issue? In the config file, is there a list of line to tweak that highlight on selected text?

I have a similar question but for Light theme: is there some option to change highlighted text color, not the background of selection? I would like to have default dark green background and white text since sometimes it’s hard to differentiate what’s selected with default darker text color.

I figured it out by using the TextMate preferences... that was easy.. no need to mess with the XML...

it would be nice having a better color highlight built-in the theme. We can barely see the highlighted words after a search.

I went with the following highlight colors for both themes and have been happy:

I think the best way to interpret Ethan's guidelines is to use the Base02 (in Light) and Base2 (in Dark) for selection highlighting. Currently Light Theme does this correctly while the Dark Theme uses Base02 for lineHighlight as well as selection highlighting (which just isn't contrasting enough).

This is still not fixed. Strangely, in older version, the textmate theme that can be downloaded from the official solarized site don't have this problem.

The colour appears to be 073642ff. Screenshot is added to issue #52.

Yes - if the highlighted text issue could be fixed, i'd be eternally grateful! It's impossible to see highlighted text at the moment.
