I read about this project at http://voodoo-slide.blogspot.com/2010/01/amplifying-c.html many years ago -- around 2013, I think -- at the start of my own Lisp journey.

I always liked this idea -- and the more generalized notion of Lisp-as-a-host-metalanguage regardless of the guest language -- but it seems you only took it so far.

I was wondering if you'd maybe be willing to share some thoughts on why it fizzled. Did C++ get sufficiently better? Was the practice less practical than the theory theorized? Just... got busy with other stuff?

Any insight you have would be really cool! --g
