App constantly crashing

During a 3 week test of the app from 2019-09-03 to 2019-10-03, 3 out of 4 Android devices experienced crashes at least once a day. On one device in particular (see attached logcat file), the user's device would sometimes crash as much as 10 or more times in a single day. Unfortunately we weren't able to get logcat files from the other two devices that had issues.

Device details: Moto G, Android 7, AWARE build 256 from Jenkins

There didn't appear to be any regularity to when crashes happened, but this still proved to be a major UX issue during testing.

We will add Google Crashlytics to the client so we can capture these.
