Instead of deleting entry, set timestamp to inactive

Open hrehfeld opened this issue 7 years ago • 3 comments

This is a feature request:

I'd like to be able to set a variable so that entries are /not/ deleted. Instead, their timestamps (<2000-01-01>) should be set to inactive ([2000-01-01]).

Archiving would be another option...

totally with you on this! I'd like to see on my org entry if it was deleted in the calendar.

Either by "deactivating" the timestamp or what i'd prefer by some Property or tag added to the entry!

I'm actually using org-caldav on the same server as my caldav server and have it auto execute. So i set the calendar entry deletion setting to never, since i don't want it to delete stuff from my org docs on accident, but i cant have it ask, since its a no-interaction server setup.
