Have you ever considered to implement Dendron as an Obsidian plugin?

Well as another issue said: Dendron is fucking great! I love it. After I tried Obsidian, LogSeq, and more. The hierarchy structure based on dot-separated filename was a genius design. And the Lookup bar made the note-taking so convenient. But I have to say that although VSCode is a great Editor for many purposes, for note-taking, it seems not good enough. And most plugins/extensions in VSCode are for better coding, not note-taking. On the other hand, most plugins/extensions on Obsidian are built for better note-taking. And there are some good plugins like kanban, dataview that enhanced the note-taking experience. And last not least, Obsidian's markdown editor feels better than VSCode. This is a suggestion, not a request. Thank you for building the Dendron for us. If I have the time, I would like to contribute to the project :-).
Well, I do not know for other users but I not only use Dendron for all you said BUT also because it is open source. AFAIK, Obsidian is not.
thanks for the feature request. while this isn't something that is currently on our roadmap, its something we're open to if someone else were interested in doing the implementation. will leave open in case folks are interested
@kevinslin ok, thank you for the awesome project. I will try to do so. But I didn't read the source of Dendron and don't know how to create an Obsidian plugin :( So I need to do more effort. I hope it will give a shock to the Obsidian community :). You can close this issue or leave it alone.
@holmesconan You may try obsidian breadcrumbs plugin which supports the dendron style hierarchy.
Enable the option below.
You'll get a breadcrumbs matrix view similar to the dendron tree view.
@HenryC-3 thank you for your advice. I would like to try it. But it is just part of Dendron :-).
I would love to see such a plugin! Especially as Dendron does not run on mobile, where I do my note-taking. I'd love to be able to try out Dendron within Obsidian!
Also, BTW, though Obsidian is not open source, the source code is available.
