synology surveillance station integration?
Hi,
Not sure if its possible... but integration with Synology Surveillance Station using foggycam to re-serve the stream with different ports per camera? I've got a couple of Pi's knocking around so would be great if could make use of them to host it.
Dan

It's will be a really good features to extend foggycam compatibly with Synology !
If you select User defined, you can select a file. Did you have try this already? Not sure if the format is supported.
@jerryfudd @CLARENNE-Q @jovana does Synology has an extensibility model? I don't have the infrastructure to test the integration, since I am not using the service/toolchain, but if someone wants to develop a FoggyCam connector, I am happy to merge it here 😄
I'm anticipating on buying a Nest Hello doorbell. Currently i'm using a Tuya branded doorbell sold here in the Netherlands. This used to work okay'ish. As in I got RTSP streaming working after patching it and it's added to Surveillance station as a security camera. As for the actual doorbell function i'm only using a gong for the sound when somebody is at the door.
I have a Nest hub since a couple of months and the Nest hub integration is just very nice. If I can have both (Nest hub Integration for doorbell functionality and Synology surveillance station for security camera funcntionality it would be a instant buy). I know Google offers a subscription service for the security camera and longer storage option but I don't want to pay for that. I guess there's only step that needs to be added/modified to make this work: instead of writing the ffmpeg output to a file use it to serve an RTSP stream.
So, that's a very good observation @Bechrissed - RTSP is on the roadmap for this project, I just want to get the core stability first, so that it works well locally. Once that's done, streaming is the must-have component I will be implementing.
