Wont save image data on save post

I used your code for functions.php and replace houses by the post type im using. when i save the post the gallery images disappear. any idea how to fix this. using latest wordpress

Sorry for my late response:) I've just revised the codes and fixed a bug. The codes work fine now.

This code is also not working correctly foer me.....same issue as mentioned above.

Indstead of selwcting multiple images at once and then clicking add now,click on each image and then add to gallery.
