Add search bar to top right of app when there is sufficient UI space
To search, the user currently has to open the hamburger menu/click search on the left to navigate to a whole page dedicated to searching.
It would be nice to add a search box to the top right of the window where there is sufficient UI space, and show search result candidates as a suggestion box. If they hit enter, move to the full search result page.
The sort of design/behavior I am talking about is what the Store app does.
Not a big fan. My main usage is not to search for new podcasts. I would prefer move the search in the hamburger (like groove) and use it to search inside my library (or both??)
Could have the auto suggest box prioritize podcasts in your library, and if there are no results, either surface online results, or have a single entry saying "we couldn't find that in your library, search for new podcasts", and have that open up the main search page?
