Incoming messages are not being moved to the DeltaChat folder automatically

Linux (Manjaro/KDE)

  • Delta Chat Version:

1.30.1

  • Expected behavior:

Messages used to get moved into the DeltaChat folder up until the 16th July 2022

  • Actual behavior:

Incoming messages are no longer automatically moved from the Inbox to the DeltaChat folder.

  • Steps to reproduce the problem:

Normal usage pattern, messages used to move to the DC folder, now they don't.

"Automatic Move to DeltaChat Folder" is on in Settings -> Advanced.

Using dovecot 2.3.16 on an Ubuntu 22.04 server.

@markc Welcome, and apologies for getting back to you that late! AFAIK only emails that were sent by a Delta Chat client are moved to the DeltaChat folder. In any case, you may want to check out the latest version (including tons of various fixes) to be downloaded from here: https://delta.chat/de/download

Closing because there is currently not enough info to reproduce. If it is still reproducible with the latest Delta Chat version, please provide a log collected right after receiving a message.
