Mailer daemon messages are not sent outside of chatmail servers
Users on nine.testrun.org report that they have a group where attempting to send results in error "5.1.1 ... User does not exist" for some nine.testrun.org users. But users sending from chatmail.woodpeckersnest.space do not see this error. They should get a bounce message, but it seems bounce message originates on nine.testrun.org but rejected by filtermail because it is not encrypted, so it is essentially not sent.

but chatmail servers typically accept incoming unencrypted mails, so why would woodpeckers reject a mailer daemon from nine?
The message has already been edited, when you read GH emails you only get the first version.
There is a test test_cleartext_incoming_mailer_daemon checking that incoming messages can be accepted.
But we don't have an example of quota exceeded message and there are reports that they are not delivered between servers.
