Documentation for using with VirtualBox?

Is there ability to use BoincOS with VirtualBox? I see that Arch Linux is supported as platform in VirtualBox. I tried converting img to vdi: vboxmanage convertdd boinc.img boinc.vdi

I could not get the VDI to boot.
