With AWS officially ending support for AWS SDK for Go V1 on July 31, 2025 (announcement), there is a need to migrate the dell/goobjectscale and dell/cosi project to AWS SDK for Go V2 for continued support, security, and access to the latest features. The proposed solution involves updating dependencies, refactoring code to align with the new SDK syntax, adjusting configurations, thorough testing, and updating documentation.
